    Pominter has been a leader of overseas apple exportation for over 40 years.

    We control all kind of transportation modes that might be required by our customers, such as land transport, sea freight, or even air freight for certain destinations. Whatever the transportation mode picked by the customer, we guarantee an optimal traceability which allows us to go back to the harvested parcel in less 24h if need be.

    For the past few years, Pominter has been committed to develop piggyback transport. Thanks to the use of rail-road we avoid emitting the equivalent of 2 tons of CO2 per container. During the 2013-2014 season we managed to ship 5% of our volume this way. During the 2014-2015 season we brought up this number to 30%.

    Pominter invested in innovative tools to ensure containers’ tracking until the final delivery spot. Right after the container leaves the pack-house, we monitor its progression thanks to different triggered alerts that allow us to keep the customer up-to-date. Once loaded on the vessel, we track its progression and final ETA evolution live, allowing us to inform the customer of any change whenever needed.

Our logistics service providers are experts on specific geographic regions they serve, which means greater flexibility and local help when needed.
